Dear Oyster River Families, 

We are pleased to announce that Kristen Perron has been appointed Interim Principal of Oyster River High School for the 2026–27 school year, effective July 1, 2026.

Since joining the Oyster River community in 2023 as Assistant Principal, Kristen has distinguished herself as a thoughtful instructional leader, a trusted colleague, and a steadfast advocate for students. Her exceptional leadership was recognized statewide when she was named the 2025 New Hampshire Assistant Principal of the Year by the New Hampshire Association of School Principals.

Throughout her time at Oyster River High School, Kristen has played a vital role in advancing student success and strengthening school systems. Her leadership has included refinement of the advisory program, coordination of state assessments, supervision and evaluation of faculty and staff, support for the development of the school's Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), and oversight of the high school's summer school program. Her collaborative approach and commitment to continuous improvement have made a meaningful impact on our students and school community.

Prior to joining Oyster River, Kristen served as Dean of Students at Salem High School and began her career as an English teacher at Pinkerton Academy, experiences that continue to inform her student-centered leadership.

Kristen has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to providing high-quality learning experiences, fostering meaningful relationships, and creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive school environment where every student can thrive. She brings energy, integrity, and a clear vision for supporting both students and staff, and we are confident she will provide outstanding leadership during the coming school year.
