8/03/2026 Update: PowerSchool National Outage Affecting Parent Portal

PowerSchool is currently experiencing a nationwide outage affecting Ecollect Forms within the Parent Portal. We understand this may impact your ability to complete back-to-school forms, and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We will share updates as soon as more information becomes available. Dear Oyster River Families,

Starting August 3, 2026, it will be time to complete your student(s) annual back-to-school forms. All new and returning families must complete their child(ren)’s back-to-school forms by Tuesday, August 18, 2026, in our PowerSchool parent portal. 

Back-to-school forms include all school year information and required forms, which must be completed annually. This information is critical to ensure effective planning for our students' learning experience and finalizing bus routes. 

Logging in to the parent portal will also provide information such as school placement for new K-4 families, classroom assignments (K-8), teams (5-8), and schedules (9-12).

If you are a new Oyster River family or need assistance logging into PowerSchool, please contact your school’s front office. New families of kindergarten students who do not already have an existing account should contact either Mast Way or Moharimet for assistance.

HOW TO ACCESS THE PARENT PORTAL

Parents and guardians need to log in to their PowerSchool account at powerschool.orcsd.org, then:

1. Click on the student’s name to complete school year information and required forms (each student’s forms must be updated separately).
2. Click on Forms in the left column.
3. Click on the Enrollment tab to see the list of forms for that student.
4. Click on the form to open and complete it.

Team and classroom assignments may be found under each student’s name. Students' school placement can be found under "School Information". 

Forms are listed in order and have a status icon beside them indicating “Not Started” or “Submitted”. Please check the information on your form before submitting it.

A red asterisk indicates required fields. After submitting, the next form in the series will open, or you can select the form to open by clicking the up arrow beside the submit button on the lower right.
