Dear Parents and Guardians of the Class of 2025,  

While we were all hoping to honor and celebrate members of the Class of 2025 outdoors on our campus, the weather forecast is unfortunately getting worse, indicating that rain is to be expected all day and evening. We are in a position where we, regretfully, have exhausted our options and must move the ceremony indoors. 

In an effort to accommodate all family members and loved ones wishing to attend the ceremony, our team has made extensive efforts today to secure a large venue for this very special celebration of our seniors.  

I am happy to share that we will be hosting graduation at the Whittemore Center. 

The ceremony will start at 8:30 p.m., with doors opening at 8:00 pm. 

While it is disappointing that we can't host an outdoor graduation on school grounds at the previously scheduled time, we are extremely pleased that all family and friends will be able to attend and celebrate their graduate.  

I also want to acknowledge that this change may cause a hardship for some and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. 

I wish to extend my gratitude to UNH and Somersworth High School for their special cooperation and significant effort in working to make this happen for our graduates, families, and friends. All our Seniors deserve their special moment on the stage surrounded by all their loved ones and our broader community.

SENIORS: 

• Seniors need to be at ORHS by 7:00 p.m. and can be dropped off or leave their cars at ORHS. 
• We will take attendance, get their boutonniere, and line up by Advisory. 
• Buses will bring Seniors to the Whittemore Center, where they will enter through the back. 
• Below is a diagram showing the lots and the bus drop-off point.

After Graduation, there will be 2 buses if Seniors need to return to ORHS to retrieve their car or other items. 

Upon leaving Graduation, Seniors should go to the middle school for Project Graduation. See email from Project Graduation. 

Whittemore Center: 

• Doors open at 8:00 p.m. 
• Graduation starts at 8:30 p.m.
• Approximate end time: 10:15 p.m.
• This is open seating; tickets are not necessary. 
• The jumbotron will not be available. 

UNH does not allow certain items: no smoking, no balloons, no noise makers. Concessions will not be available. 

Livestream: The ceremony will be livestreamed: https://www.orcsd.org/stream 

Graduation banners: Parents/guardians can hang Senior banners after the doors open.  

Handicap seating: There is handicap seating throughout the arena. 

Parking: 

• Lot A is for Families and Graduates.
• Handicap parking and Staff parking are in the Woodside Lot or Nesmith Lot (due to Reunion Weekend events at UNH).
