ORCSD Assistant Director of Student Services Recognized by NHSEA

On June 13, 2025, Mast Way and Moharimet Schools Assistant Director of Student Services Brittany Prendergast was recognized as an Emerging Leader by the New Hampshire Association of Special Education Administrators (NHSEA). 

Each region in New Hampshire nominated a candidate for this recognition, and the Seacoast (Southeast) region nominated Mrs. Prendergast. 

Director of Student Services Catherine Plourde said, “I am honored to share this news with the community. Brittany is an amazing leader who very much deserves this recognition. She works tirelessly on behalf of students, parents, and staff, and I feel very fortunate to work alongside her.”

Mrs. Prendergast has been serving the Oyster River community since 2017. She was first hired as a school psychologist at Moharimet School. She then served as Assistant Director of Special Education at Oyster River Middle School.

Mrs. Prendergast obtained a B.A. in psychology from the University of New England and her M.S. from Northeastern University. She is a licensed special education administrator (University of New Hampshire), a certified school psychologist (NCSP), and a nonviolent crisis intervention trainer.
