Hello! My name is Sarah Davis, and I am absolutely honored to be joining the third-grade team here at Mast Way Elementary School. This will be my fifth year teaching, and I can’t wait to fill my classroom with laughter and learning. I have a passion for fostering a supportive, engaging, and innovative learning environment where my students are encouraged to meet their greatest potential! I am newly married and I’m a cat mom to two adorable kittens, Shelby and Bentley. I am excited to be joining such an amazing community and even more thrilled to meet each one of you!

Hello! I’m Ella Foster and I am so excited to be rejoining the Mast Way family! This is my 6th school year, and I will be working as a Kindergarten Para with Mrs. Moulton this year! When I’m not at Mast Way, I am at the gym, cooking up some good meals or watching Game of Thrones for the 100th time. I’m excited to see everyone again and meet new faces as we spend yet another great year together!

Kate Spear, Literacy Tutor

Hi everyone!

My name is Kate Spear, and I’m so excited to be joining Mast Way as a literacy tutor! I’m a 2019 Oyster River graduate, and I’m thrilled to be working in the same district where I spent much of my schooling. I studied Elementary Education and English at Saint Michael’s College in Colchester, VT, and went on to complete my master’s degree in special education the following year. This past year, I worked as a literacy tutor at Rollinsford Grade School, where I had the unique and meaningful opportunity to work alongside my mom and other wonderful colleagues.  I truly loved the role and am excited to bring that experience to Mast Way. I’m looking forward to being part of a larger school, learning from one another, and sharing the joy of education. In my free time I love to read, embroider, and spend time with friends and my pets.

Warmly,

Kate

Hello!

My name is Rebecca Trainor, a special education case manager with 9 years of experience across New Hampshire and Massachusetts school districts.  I live in Lee with my husband and 3 children (who you may know): William, Amy, and Robin. I enjoy watching all three of my children play Oyster River United soccer in the fall and spring seasons. I love iced coffee, reading, and swimming. I am so thankful to be given this opportunity to serve as a teacher in my community and look forward to playing my part in building relationships with students and working collaboratively to help in their educational growth.

Thank you,

Rebecca

Owen Price, Paraeducator

I am so excited to get to know everyone in the Mast Way community! I worked as a paraeducator at ORHS last year and will continue at Mast Way for this coming school year. One of my favorite memories from the high school was being able to work with the Unified Volleyball Program! I originally grew up in Massachusetts (near UMass) but went to school for Social Studies licensure in Cleveland, Ohio. I worked there for several years primarily in K-8 settings as a teacher and then Title One interventionist. My wife and I moved to Durham last August when she started a graduate program, and we have loved finding new trails, watching movies, and going for long walks along the Seacoast!

Hello,

My name is Zane Bauer. I grew up in Connecticut and graduated from the University of New Hampshire in May with a degree in Wildlife and Conservation Biology. Over the past six years, I have worked with children in a variety of settings, including as a camp counselor at Bushy Hill Nature Center, a Summer Program Coordinator at Riverside Reptiles, and a one-on-one paraeducator at the Extended School Year program in a Connecticut elementary school. In addition, I often served as a substitute teacher during university breaks. I love the outdoors and studying wildlife - particularly reptiles - and am planning to pursue my teaching certification to become a science teacher.

Thank you,

Zane Bauer
