Open Circle Parent Program

During Open Circle lessons, students learn to be cooperative and caring, how to improve communication, problem solve, develop self-control, take responsibility, learn social skills, and build relationships.

The Open Circle Parent Program is designed to:

  1. Familiarize parents with the skills your children are learning and practicing in the classroom.
  2. Assist parents in the use of these skills at home.
  3. Adapt and extend these skills and techniques for more effective parenting.

We are offering a 5-session parent program open to all parents of K-4 grade students. This engaging, interactive program is activity and discussion-based. It encourages parents to share and learn in a supportive, comfortable, and safe setting. The program includes all 5 sessions, with materials, culminating in a shared learning experience and skill development.

The program will run at the Moharimet School Library from 6:30-8:00 p.m. on the following Tuesdays:

  • January 13
  • January 20
  • January 27
  • February 3
  • February 10

Parents will be provided with materials. The program will be run in small discussion groups. Multiple groups will be run at the same time based on registration.
