One School, One Ocean, Endless Possibilities

What started as Mast Way’s schoolwide theme – “One School, One Ocean, Endless Possibilities” - culminated in an unforgettable field trip to the Seacoast Science Center. Our entire school community ventured beyond the classroom to explore the wonders of the ocean, discover the magic of tidepools, and celebrate an incredible year of learning together.

Students from every grade level experienced the ocean like never before. Our learners waded into the tidepools, discovering snails clinging to rocks, seaweed swaying in shallow waters, and hermit crabs scurrying across the sandy bottom. Each tidepool became a classroom without walls, a place where science came alive in real time.

The dedicated staff at Seacoast Science Center brought their passion and expertise to every interaction. Through guided tours, hands-on demonstrations, and thoughtful conversations, they helped our students understand not just what lives in the ocean, but why these creatures matter. Students asked questions, made observations, and walked away with a deeper appreciation for marine science and ocean conservation.

Thank you to the Seacoast Science Center and the Theme Team for making this experience unforgettable. Here's to one school, one ocean, and the limitless potential we discovered together.
