Services you can seek independently:
- The Town of Lee has a Welfare Officer, Pam. Please call 603-659-5414. This is the best resource for finding out what kind of help is available in the area.
- Lee Community Church has a food pantry that is open on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month, 5:30-7:00 p.m. Call 603-659-2861 for any questions.
- Your child(ren) can access the school's free lunch and breakfast program.
- Community Action Partnership of Strafford County offers fuel/electric assistance and housing relief programs, as well as other services. They can be reached at 603-435-2500.
Services for which you should contact Erica Talbot or Kat Reilly:
- In November, Lee Community Church puts together Thanksgiving food baskets. Please reach out to Nurse Kat or Erica Talbot by November 3rd if you need Thanksgiving dinner assistance.
- At Christmastime, Lee Community Church puts together Christmas food baskets. Please reach out to Nurse Kat or Erica Talbot by December 3rd if you need Christmas dinner assistance.
- The Rotary Club of Durham Great Bay funds a Shoe and Boot Program. If you have not taken advantage of this program in the past and you need shoes or boots for your elementary school child, please connect with us for a voucher for a pair of boots or shoes at Red’s Shoe Barn in Dover.
- During the holidays, the school can help with holiday gifts for students in need. We can find resources for your child’s gift needs confidentially. We need a wish list in order of priority, with size, color, gender, and age information. This information is required by November 21st.
- A volunteer group, Oyster River End 68 Hours of Hunger, sends home food with children on Fridays. This can start at any time during the year, and the program has no income requirement.

We typically need gift cards to Kohl’s, Marshall’s, Walmart, Target, Amazon, or any local supermarket. Those interested may also donate to End 68 Hours of Hunger.
