Before April Break, Mast Way School's 4th grade students hosted their Tiny Home Energy Expo, sharing their creative, energy-efficient tiny home designs with families and visiting 3rd grade classes.
This interdisciplinary project brought together concepts like energy transfer, renewable energy, sustainable solutions, and thoughtful design in a hands-on, engaging way. At its heart, the goal was simple: spark curiosity and excitement through project-based learning, giving students choice and voice, opportunities to experiment, and even the chance to learn from community experts who visited along the way.

Fourth grade students hosted an expo to present and explain their tiny home's sustainable features.

Third grade students, family, friends, and staff visited 4th grade classrooms to learn about the students' tiny homes.
