On February 7, 2024, Alida Carter was named Assistant Principal of Oyster River Middle School (ORMS).
Upon Mrs. Carter's nomination by the ORSCD School Board, Principal Sullivan said "Mrs. Carter has brought an amazing amount of positive energy to the ORMS administrative team and her dedication and love of our students is outstanding."
Principal Sullivan added, "I feel very fortunate that I will continue working with Mrs. Carter. We plan to continue creating new and fun learning opportunities for all ORMS students."
