2025-2026 Child Nutrition Information

Updated 9/29/2025: End 68 Hours of Hunger bag value is between $25 and $30. Each bag provides quality food, including bread (whole wheat, bagels, or English muffins), cereal, shelf-stable milk, mayonnaise, canned protein (tuna or chicken), and snacks.

ORCSD Free & Reduced Meals Program

To continue receiving free or reduced meals for the 2025-2026 school year, your application must be received by October 11, 2025. The simplest way to apply is to complete an application in LINQConnect.

Meal applications can also be printed and placed in an envelope, marked with "For Child Nutrition Director", and given to the food service staff at your school or mailed to: Child Nutrition, 33 Coe Drive, Durham, NH 03824.

Free & Reduced Meal applications are processed by the Child Nutrition director and are not available to other staff members.
 

End 68 Hours of Hunger

A non-profit organization that offers help with groceries to support families during the 68 hours of hunger that some school children experience between the free lunch they receive in school on Friday and the free breakfast they receive in school on Monday. Each bag of food is valued at $15 and includes groceries for two breakfasts, two lunches, and three dinners for a child.

All End 68 Hours of Hunger requests are processed confidentially by End 68 Hours of Hunger, unrelated to ORCSD’s Free & Reduced Meals program, and there is no income requirement.

Community Action Partnership of Strafford County

Community Action Partnership of Strafford County is a 501(c)(3) private nonprofit organization established under the provisions of the Equal Opportunity Act of 1964 and established in Strafford County in May of 1965.

In addition to family support resources and homelessness prevention and housing, the organization shares information about local food pantries, December Holiday food baskets, and summer meals assistance.
